Withdrawal / cancellation

Consumers generally have a statutory withdrawal right for distance contracts, but statutory exceptions may apply. These notes therefore distinguish between fixed-date event tickets and vouchers.

Event tickets

For services related to leisure activities, the withdrawal right may be excluded if the contract provides for a specific date or period. This typically applies to tickets for events with a fixed date or fixed period, subject to the applicable statutory requirements.

Refunds, rebookings, cancellations, rescheduling and goodwill arrangements follow the information shown in the shop, the event information and mandatory statutory rules.

Vouchers

Different rules may apply to vouchers than to fixed-date event tickets. Consumers may have a withdrawal right for vouchers purchased online unless a statutory exception applies or the voucher has already been fully redeemed or provided before expiry of the withdrawal period after the required consent.
